My Natural Peptide Routine:
If you had told me a year ago I would be talking about peptides, I probably would have laughed. I was a solid 9/10 skeptic.
I heard “peptides” and immediately thought injections, prescriptions, and something that didn’t align with what I was personally looking for.
Then I learned about natural bioactive peptides and it took me right back to my anatomy and physiology days from grad school.
Our bodies are constantly communicating. Every thought we have, every movement we make, every muscle we build, every stressful moment we navigate, every night of recovery; millions of processes are happening inside us every single second.
Bioactive peptides are a part of that communication system.
They are tiny fragments of proteins made from amino acids naturally found in our bodies and foods. When specific proteins are broken down, they release these bioactive pieces that can interact with the body and help support normal processes related to muscle health, metabolism, focus, stress response, sleep, and recovery.
The science around peptides has been around for decades. What’s newer is our ability to identify and isolate specific bioactive peptides and make them available in a simple daily routine.
As a woman approaching 40, I can no longer expect my body and brain to perform at a high level without intentionally supporting them.
My natural bioactive peptide routine has become one of the simplest and most impactful ways I do that, which is why it's become a non-negotiable part of my day.
Our StoryMy Current Routine
I believe in starting simple and building from there. If someone asks me where to start, my answer is almost always the same:
Start with the Breakthrough Stack.
This is the foundation of my routine and includes a combination of capsules and drink mixes designed to support the areas I believe matter most as we age: strength, recovery, energy, and sleep.
The Breakthrough Stack
LEAN (Capsule). My goal is no longer getting smaller. It’s building and maintaining lean muscle. LEAN supports my commitment to strength, body composition, and helping my body age well.
FIT (Drink Mix). FIT supports my active lifestyle, exercise performance, recovery, and overall wellness. It’s delicious over ice and I typically have it mid morning.
RESTORED (Capsule). We cannot talk about health without talking about sleep. RESTORED supports a strong, healthy sleep. It aids in cleaning up cells and preparing the body and brain for the next day.
Over time, I added additional peptides based on the areas I wanted to support most in this season of life.
FOCUS (Capsule). Long days of leadership require mental clarity.Between meetings, clinical thinking, creating, parenting, and making hundreds of decisions a day, I want to support my ability to stay sharp and focused.
CALM (Capsule)
I spent years learning how to handle stress.Now I’m focused on supporting the body and nervous system that identifies, processes, and releases stress out of my body and ind. .CALM has become part of my commitment to nervous-system-led leadership and showing up with more patience, presence, and steadiness.
HYDRATE (Drink Mix)
Hydration impacts everything.Energy, physical performance, recovery, and how we feel throughout the day. HYDRATE is one of the easiest additions to my routine and something I especially reach for around workouts, busy days, and travel. I also give HYDRATE to my children.
